Lingering Fonts, designed by Zhang WeiMin, draws inspiration from traditional Chinese calligraphy and the long balloon winding form. This unique font design captures the essence of Chinese calligraphy and the playful nature of balloon winding, resulting in strokes that intersect, wind, hug, and cuddle with each other. The strokes create a sense of space and fun, depicting the lingering meaning of a woman's love for acacia. With its blend of strokes, Lingering Fonts brings a fresh and captivating approach to font design.

Using Bai Juyi's "Sauvignon Blanc" as a blueprint, Lingering Fonts captures the essence of a woman's love for acacia. The strokes of the font are filled with interesting shapes and spaces, reflecting the playful and expressive nature of the design. The use of different strokes creates a dynamic composition, with each stroke intertwining and embracing the others. At times, the strokes stretch open, while at other times, they linger, symbolizing the depth and complexity of a woman's love.

The realization of Lingering Fonts is achieved through screen printing technology. The dimensions of the design are 70*100CM, making it suitable for various applications such as posters, graphic design, illustration, and advertising.

Lingering Fonts was created in 2016 by Zhang WeiMin. The design project involved extensive research into fonts and the exploration of traditional Chinese calligraphy and balloon winding. Overcoming creative and technical challenges, Zhang WeiMin successfully translated the essence of these art forms into a captivating font design.
